Retreats Highlights

Staying true to our mission, each day you’ll be guided by one of the country’s top chefs through hands-on cooking lessons. This is your chance to uncover the secrets of local cuisine while savoring every delicious bite you create. Whether you’re a food lover who enjoys private chef-prepared meals, an accomplished cook looking to sharpen your skills, or a beginner in the kitchen, these lessons will be fun, educational, and fulfilling.

Beyond cooking, you’ll have the chance to participate in surf lessons, yoga sessions, and sound healing experiences. The trip also includes a day trip to a charming city, where we’ll uncover hidden gems, explore local markets, and visit historical landmarks. Each evening, you’ll have the option to gather around a bonfire with the group or escape to a private spot to watch the sun set, painting the sky with breathtaking colors.

With six nights at a stunning beachfront stay, three daily meals of mouthwatering Nicaraguan delicacies, and an itinerary packed with fun and connection, this retreat is your ticket to a life-changing adventure. Flavors of the Tropics: The Fresh, Bold Cuisine of Nicaragua

Nicaraguan cuisine is vibrant, fresh, and deeply connected to the land and sea, with a tropical climate that provides an abundance of fruits, vegetables, and freshly caught seafood year-round. From coconut-infused dishes to grilled fish, plantains, and zesty salsas, every meal bursts with flavor and reflects the country’s rich natural bounty.

Meet Our Co-Host in Nicaragua

“I truly believe that the way people cook and eat tells you so much about their history, traditions, and way of life. Each dish has a story to tell.”

Adriana Figueroa teams up with Steve to be your co-host on the Nicaragua retreat. She is a passionate chef with over 9 years of experience, specializing in pastry and baking. After leaving her engineering career, she pursued her true passion, training at places like the Basque Culinary Center. Now, she owns two bakeries in Managua, creating desserts inspired by her love for cooking and her travels, always exploring new techniques and flavors. For Adriana, gastronomy is a way to express her creativity and connect with what she loves.
